We take orders for systems in advance, purchasing your product as part of a bigger bulk order, once we have reached the minimum required discount order number.

This makes purchasing a solar system through us by far the cheapest direct buying option available.

To secure a system a 50% deposit is required to be paid in advance.

Terms and Conditions

All Manufacturing faults on the stainless steel tank, collector manifold, frame assembly and evacuated tubes are covered by the manufacturer warranty for a period of five years.
A two year warranty is valid on other components not covered under the main warranty.

A one year manufacturers warranty exists for the pump and electrical components.

The Warranty is covered by manufacturer who holds a valid ISO 9001 licence covering the warranty and quality control of products produced. The warranty of products is not the direct responsibility of Solar Energy Direct (SED).

SED will facilitate all repairs and or replacements of parts within the warranty period. Replacement or repair of unit will take place immediately if parts are available at the warehouse or if not in stock as soon as the part arrives or made available by the manufacturer.

No replacement or repair can take place until and unless the faulted part of the system is returned to the address of purchase, or fault has been personally checked by a Solar Energy Direct appointed representative .

If it is regarded that the fault is not due to manufacturing issue, then warranty will not apply and the

required replacement parts will be replaced or repaired at customers cost. If the customer intends to install the system themselves they are required to check condition and contents of the unit before accepting it. Once unit has been accepted and checked for damage any reported breakage or missing parts not assigned or identified, as a manufacturing fault is the responsibility of owner. Owner is supplied with a parts checklist. Manufacturer warranty does not cover breakages where an object has fallen or hit the system, or where the system has been badly installed, or installed out of alignment, or where system movement on a badly installed system after installation has caused damage to the unit.

No plumbing or electrical parts are supplied with unit, unless a separate agreement has been pre arranged to supply these parts. Where Australian Standards are required to fit a particular system in a certain way, the burden of responsibility belongs to the owner and or their chosen Installer. The Installer should verify all requirements have been met and the unit is fitted correctly as required by regulations in the area unit will be operating.

Fitting of all auxiliary electrical or gas heating elements is the responsibility of installer. SED does

not take responsibility for any system fitted in any situation that goes against the legal plumbing

practices and requirements of the country the system is installed in.

Solar Energy Direct does not take responsibility for any fault or damage caused due to installation,

electrical or plumbing of system or water damage that arising due to bad or incorrect installation of this unit.
